Wesley Leffingwell is a keyboardist based in Denver, Colorado. His main instrument is the harpsichord and he performs as a soloist as well as with various groups as a continuo. Over the years, he has had the privilege of performing with a variety of ensembles, including the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Greeley Philharmonic, Boulder Philharmonic. His musical journey has also led to collaborations with organizations such as the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, Opera Neo, Boulder Bach Festival, Seicento Baroque, Pendulum Early Music, Hesperus, and Cadmus among others.
He has held staff positions at the University of Denver and Regis University, where he has enjoyed working with the next generation of musicians. He also serves as Music Director at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church, where he leads the choir and helps cultivate a welcoming and vibrant musical community.
In 2023, he had the opportunity to attend both the Emmanuel Bach Institute in Boston and the American Bach Soloists Summer Academy in San Francisco, furthering his knowledge of historical performance practices. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree in Harpsichord at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he continues to explore the intersection of performance and scholarship.
